Anybody ever done it? If so, did ya enjoy it, or not worth the time?
I'm thinking about taking the bar-tending class down in Bristol, getting certified and doing a little in Tennessee as a part time job, and applying to the new apple beas when it opens up.
i did it when i was in college. it really depends on which bar you get to work. i worked a larger bar in charlotte. made pretty good tips.
yeah, i'm going up to visit my uncles place out in Granite City, Illinois for Thanksgiving weekend and try it out. Only 18 years old to do it there. He owns to Bar/Restaraunts 15 minutes outside of St. Louis. So it should be fun...
Yeah man, Shane did the exact same thing.
I was a bartender in Palm Springs, CA, and made around 1000 in tips for the week. It was fun, if you can get over the annoying drunks, or you can always cut'em off and they will leave. But make sure he is OK to drive because if he wrecks it comes back on the bartender. Always ask them if you can call them a cab, or give them a free cup of coffee! The school is pretty fun too, that is if you get a good class.
I hope it's a good class, only supposed to have 10 people total in it. Hopefully it'll be fun. Unless I get in with some jerk people, who think they are the Gods of everything.

Yeah I remember when Shane took his class, he took it in Knoxville didnt he? Me and some friends were in Gatlinburg and he spent a few nights with us wihle he was taking the class.
